Covering over 21,220 m², Qatar Desert Rose offers a carefully designed route, narrating the nation’s history and culture through architecture and art installations. Every detail of the 60-minute experience has been considered. Visitors comfortably follow a pathway with artistic installations, discovering various aspects of Qatar’s heritage. The journey culminates at the Experience Center, which includes a luxurious resort with leisure activities such as spa treatments, fine dining, a beach club, yacht excursions, and captivating performances. This experience embodies our vision of an ideal journey — immersive, inspiring, and memorable.

Layouts

Four distinctive installations anchor the journey, each highlighting aspects of Qatar’s cultural identity. Majestic arches symbolize Islamic values and continuity; petal-shaped tents represent Bedouin hospitality and nomadic traditions; reflective pearls honor Qatar’s pearl-diving heritage; and an infinite Möbius strip signifies the timeless link between Qatar’s past, present, and future.

The Experience Center’s roof mirrors the curves of desert dunes, blending with its environment. Utilizing advanced parametric design — an algorithm-driven technique creating adaptive architectural forms — the structure provides shade, natural cooling, and spacious interiors. This architectural approach combines aesthetic appeal, environmental sustainability, and visitor comfort.

The visual identity of Qatar Desert Rose is inspired by the unique shape of the desert rose crystal. Represented artistically in the project’s logo, this form is integrated into various installations and interior elements. A natural color palette reflects the desert’s warm hues, highlighting resilience, harmony, and Qatar’s distinctive cultural and natural spirit.

Qatar Desert Rose is an ambitious project inspired by Qatar’s captivating landscapes and rich cultural heritage. At its core is an immersive journey that shares Qatar’s story through striking architecture and meaningful art. Dramatic sand dunes meet the calm waters of the Persian Gulf, while the harsh climate and traditions of Bedouins and pearl divers highlight a culture defined by resilience and harmony. From expansive deserts to ancient customs, visitors will experience Qatar as a place of remarkable contrasts and deep connections between people and nature.

Our team designed the interiors of key public spaces that define the complex’s atmosphere. We created an expressive main lobby with curated artworks, installed an impressive art piece in the atrium, and carefully planned a comfortable two-level underground parking. Harmony and time are at the core of our concept. Harmony represents a balance and unity of diverse elements, complementing each other to create a cohesive atmosphere. Time acts as the connecting thread, seamlessly linking the past, present, and future. In Kamerger’s interiors, historical heritage elegantly blends with contemporary design solutions, ensuring a smooth and harmonious transition between different eras.

Installation 

Located on Cape Sivuchya on the southern coast of Sakhalin, it has witnessed the passing of eras and decades of neglect. Built in 1939 by Japanese engineers, the lighthouse became a unique structure capable of operating in harsh climates and strong ocean currents. Its bright light was powered by a unique Fresnel lens. Later, the lighthouse was converted to radioisotope generators, making it fully autonomous.

Kamerger is an exclusive complex of mansions in the very heart of Moscow, near the Bolshoi Theatre. For over five centuries, Kamergersky Lane has been an iconic place where legendary figures of Moscow’s elite, such as Leo Tolstoy, Alexander Pushkin, Vladimir Mayakovsky, Sergey Yesenin, and many others, have lived and visited. The residential part of the project includes two mansions, Epoch and Order. They differ stylistically but together form a unified ensemble, connected by a glass passage featuring a two-level park and decorative pond. Epoch and Order are historic 19th-century buildings designed in an eclectic style, originally part of the estate belonging to Nikolay Matveisen, a renowned merchant and industrialist. Each mansion has 17 residences with spacious terraces and French balconies. Epoch stands out with its distinctive black lace-like shutters, while Order features a minimalist, symmetrical facade composed of various textures and materials.

Sakhalin calls to travelers seeking rare experiences and true freedom, yet the island’s infrastructure still falls short of their expectations. Aniva isn’t just accommodation — it’s an&nbsp;immersive journey into history and nature. Guests will stay in the heart of the ocean, surrounded by pristine wilderness, without compromising on comfort. It’s an experience you won’t find anywhere else. The project symbolizes the renewal of historic heritage, placing a new landmark on Russia’s exclusive tourism map.

Ellipse as the foundation of design and meaning. The project draws inspiration from the engineering genius of Miura Shinobu, who revolutionized lighthouse construction. When designing the Aniva lighthouse, he moved away from traditional approaches, embedding a double-ring structure within an ellipse — a shape that provides resilience against the elements and time itself. This principle became the cornerstone of our architectural concept.

Inside Aniva, the story begun by Miura’s architecture continues. Nothing here is excessive — concrete, minimalism, and clean forms. Thoughtful details give the space its character: designer furniture, carefully selected art objects, natural wood, and copper accents. Soft lighting gently highlights textures and shapes, creating an atmosphere that feels effortlessly comfortable.

The project’s visual identity reflects the lighthouse’s unique location — literally at the edge of the earth. Precise coordinates became part of the logo, featuring the letter “A” enclosed within an ellipse, the architectural basis of the structure itself. The name “Aniva” translates from Japanese as “at the edge of the earth”. The primary brand color is a deep blue-green, evoking the waters of the Sea of Okhotsk and the Sea of Japan surrounding Sakhalin — symbolizing the strength and allure of this place.

The Aniva lighthouse — a historic landmark at the edge of the world. Perched atop Sivuchya Rock, off the southern coast of Sakhalin, this lighthouse has witnessed changing eras and decades of neglect. Built in 1939 by Japanese engineers, it was specifically designed to endure harsh climates and powerful ocean currents. Initially, its beacon relied on an extraordinary Fresnel lens, later replaced by radioisotope generators, making it fully autonomous. Inside the nine-story structure were living quarters, diesel generators, battery rooms, and fuel storage. After World War II, the lighthouse came under Soviet control. With the collapse of the USSR, it was abandoned and gradually deteriorated, leaving only concrete walls, staircases, and remnants of its mechanical systems. Today, the Aniva lighthouse is one of Russia’s most intriguing destinations, attracting adventurers and seekers of unique experiences.
